E este mês venho falar-vos de espaço negativo. Espaço negativo é o que se chama a uma zona vazia que é predominante na fotografia e que dá uma perspectiva completamente diferente do que está a ser fotografado. Sempre que posso, tento fazer este tipo de composição e muitas vezes estas acabam por ser as minhas imagens preferidas. Não há distracções nem elementos extra a estragar a composição. Só o que realmente interessa está na imagem.
E não é nada difícil conseguir algo deste género. É só procurarem à vossa volta um ambiente que proporcione esse espaço negativo, como o céu por exemplo, e enquadrar o vosso sujeito numa pequena zona da imagem.

Today I’m talking about negative space. Negative space is what we call to that predominant empty zone of the image, that gives a different perspective of what is being photograph. Whenever I can, I try to use this composition, and many times these end up being some of my favorite photographs. There are no distractions and extra elements ruining the composition, only what really matters is in the picture.
And this not that hard to accomplish, just look around you and find a spot that can give you that negative space, like the sky for instance, and then frame the subject onto a small zone of the image. You can see some examples in the images above.
