My work is focused mostly on babies and young kids, which is why this session was a new challenge to me but whose images I’m really proud of.
Gonçalo is a kid who is about to not being one anymore and his mom wanted very much to capture his still child expressions. Most of the images were taken at their home, where Lua, their beautiful cockatiel, also posed for a few shots, and closer to the end we went to the beach. It ended up being a very nice session where I was able to capture the complicity, fondness and joy that this mother and son share. And how much fun they have together.
And Gonçalo’s mom was so proud of the beautiful images we’ve gotten!
