It was during a typical Saturday morning that I photographed this family. Waking up slowly, staying up late in my pijamas, and a slow breakfast.
While Matilde, in her exploration phase, walked all over the floor of the house, Matias had fun playing ball in the living room and playing with a giant train track, always under the watchful eye of his sister.
This was “A Morning in the Life” documentary session. It lasted 6 hours in which I accompanied and photographed these kids and their parents from the moment the kids got up until the end of lunch.
In these documentary sessions I photograph the routines of your everyday life. I photograph the fun moments as well as the crying moments, the bickering and the affection.
It is family photography without poses and without directions.
